The Cedar Creek State School community strives to prepare each individual student for a meaningful place in society. We do this by developing the ‘whole child’ and imparting deep understanding through a wide variety of learning strategies and teaching pedagogy. We strive to provide a learning environment that encourages all students to achieve set goals and reach their full potential.
Our school is located just off Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road about half way between Beenleigh and Mt Tamborine. It is a part of the Logan Albert Beaudesert District of South Coast Region and services the community of Cedar Creek, Luscombe, Tamborine, Logan Village, Canungra, Windaroo, Eagleby, Eden’s Landing and surrounding areas. At present we have an enrolment of around 240 students in a semi-rural setting. Our school community values small country schools and the associated sense of family and community that this produces.
Our parents value a healthy outdoors lifestyle which is reflected in the activities that our students participate in outside school hours. They are involved in horse riding and motorcycle sports. Our school community recognises the importance of the home and school working together in learning. There are many programs within our school whereby parents are invited to join in with their child’s learning.
